Robert's Dog Haven

Robert’s Dog Haven was born of one man’s dreams, experiences, and mutual quality of life gained by the love and support of his dog, Peaches.
Robert Wild, a resident of Bayport, Long Island and native New Yorker, lives with more than one disability, including Epilepsy. Robert’s dog, Peaches, also an Epileptic, was crucial in helping Robert regain quality of life. Together, Robert and Peaches were able to comfort one another during difficult times.
For Robert and Peaches, both their individual and common problems became a practical opportunity for healing as they comforted one another during difficult times. Through unconditional love, trust, and a common bond, they turned their respective disabilities into capabilities.
Peaches has since passed away, but her memory, love, and devotion has inspired Robert to dedicate his life to matching disabled people with disabled dogs; dogs who would otherwise be euthanized. Giving these dogs a second chance at life and partnering with a human in need, can forever change the lives of both human and canine.
